Since July 2022 he has been collaborating as an interventional cardiologist with St. Luke’s Hospital in Panorama, Thessaloniki.

From 2007 to 2022 he worked in the German public healthcare system as follows:

• Attending Physician (Oberarzt) at the University Cardiology Clinic at «Klinikum Oldenburg» (04/2018 – 03/2022), Attending Physician at the University Cardiology Clinic at «Johannes Wesling Klinikum Minden» (04/2017 – 03/2018), Attending Physician at the University Cardiology Clinic at  «St. Vincenz-Krankenhaus, Paderborn» (04/2015 – 06/2016)
• He completed his medical specialization training in Germany as follows: Resident at the Cardiology Clininc of the Cardiology and Diabetes Center NRW (Herz- und Diabeteszentrum NRW) in Bad Oeynhausen (08/2010 – 03/2015), at the Gastoenterology and General Pathology Clinic at «Elisabeth Krankenhaus Essen» (03/2009 – 06/2010), at the Hematooncology Clinic at «Johannes Hospital, Katholisches Klinikum Duisburg» – today known as HELIOS Klinikum Duisburg  (04/2008 – 08/2008) and its Cardiology Clinic (09/2008 – 12/2008 & 06/2007 – 03/2008).
• He completed his service as a rural doctor at the General Hospital – Health Centre in Goumenissa, Greece (01/2006 – 04/2007).

Konstantinos Parparas treats the following heart diseases:

Coronary artery disease, cardiac valve disorders, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, high blood pressure, hyperlipaemia etc.

In connection with interventional cardiology he has thoroughly studied:

• performing coronary artery angioplasty since 2014, many of which with a higher degree of complexity (eg. Chronic total occlusion recanalization (CTO), left main stenosis angioplasty)
• performing Rotablation, lithotripsy, use of IVUS, OCT, iFR/ FFR
• transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) since 01/2020
• performing transcoronary ablation of septal hypertrophy with alcohol (TASH) to treat obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

In connection with non interventional cardiology and besides the usual range of diagnostic tests he is also involved with:

• controlling and programming pacemakers / defibrillators
• carrying out transoesophageal echocardiagrams (TOE)
